What’s in the sample
- The story of the terrace and the village around it, retold in our own words with numbered sources.
- Four editions of the large-scale 25-inch Ordnance Survey map, surveyed or revised between 1889 and 1934.
- A modern map of the same streets, drawn from Ordnance Survey open data.
- A 2011 photograph of George Street, shared under an open licence. It isn’t labelled with house numbers, so the report says only that it probably shows the listed terrace.
- The official Historic England listing details, and a timeline from 1851 to 2001.
- Street-level sale prices for terraced houses on George Street since 1995 (medians only, from HM Land Registry), and Census 2021 figures for the surrounding neighbourhood.
- A plain note on what the records can and can’t show, plus full sources and credits.
The sample also includes an example gift page with made-up names, to show where a gift message would go.
